Vieste is a town with 13000 inhabitants situated on the most easterly region of Gargano and 45 km from Manfredonia. It has preserved its reputation as the old centre of agriculture and fishing. The old city with its old castle and the basillica from the 11th century is worth seeing. Ferry crossing to the Tremiti Isles and trips along the coast to the ""Grottos"". It is situated on one of the most beautiful coasts and offers lots of entertainments, shops, restaurants and sightseeing.
